Keeping the Dream Alive

To boldly go where science teaching and technology have never gone before!

Websites of Interest

Listed below are websites of interest. Websites currently used in my middle school science classes will be noted.

BrainPOP – great website with short animated clips which can be used to introduce a topic or reinforce a topic. It does use humor which some students find corny. It covers other content areas such as English, Math, Social Studies and Technology.(I used this website in 06-07 and will use it again in 07-08)

MindMeister – collaborative online mind mapping (recently discovered (07/15/07) but looks promising for use in the classroom)
